Research shows that probiotic additives improve egg productivity and survivability in young chickens, highlighting their economic benefits.
Recently, the main task of poultry farming is to obtain ecologically clean products in veterinary and sanitary terms that do not contain antibiotics, toxins, intermediate metabolism metabolites, opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms. The purpose of the research was to study the use of sorption and probiotic additives in feeding replacement young chickens and laying hens of the parent herd. The work substantiates the use of feed additives Sorbitox and Probitox in the postnatal period of rearing replacement young chickens and laying hens of the parent herd, as well as during the entire subsequent productive cycle. The expediency of using the complex feed additive Probitox when rearing replacement young chickens, which increased the growth and survivability of poultry, and in the productive cycle egg productivity, brooding qualities of eggs, and economic effi ciency indicators was substantiated. The studied complex feed additives with sorption and probiotic action throughout the production cycle showed the effect of immunostimulants and increased the survivability of the livestock of replacement young chickens and laying hens. Calculation of feed conversion in products in the group of laying hens with the addition of Sorbitox showed that it was higher than in the control group by 4.6 %, and in the group with Probitox by 11.2 %. Additional revenue from egg production in the group of laying hens with the addition of Sorbitox compared to the control amounted to 42.74 thousand rubles, and in the group with the addition of Probitox 104.23 thousand rubles. As a result, the level of production profitability in the control group was 23.1 %, in the experimental group with the Sorbitox additive it was 25.1 % or by 2.0 abs.% higher, in the experimental group with the Probitox additive it was 28.4 % or by 5.3 abs.% higher than the control group. In order to increase the growth and development of replacement young chickens, and subsequently the egg productivity and brooding qualities of eggs of laying hens of the parent herd of meat productivity, we recommend that poultry farms use the Probitox feed additive at a dose of 0.50 kg /t of compound feed, which will reduce feed costs and increase the profitability of production.
