Literature review reveals ethical issues and shifts to data-driven management in organizations, highlighting challenges.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is changing how organizations are managed and run, affecting everything from how platforms are governed and construction projects are managed to automating human resources, reviewing ethics, local thinking systems, and teaching about algorithms. AI has great potential to empower but also creates ethical issues, mental challenges, and power differences. Based on more than twenty representative papers, this paper systematically organizes the theoretical models, technological platforms, cognitive responses, and normative paths of AI applications in management. It is found that AI is pushing management from experience-oriented to data-driven and from human-oriented management to algorithmic decision-making, but the oppressive control, educational imbalance, and regulatory gap it brings cannot be ignored. Future research should integrate organizational behavior, education and communication, the legal system, and philosophical and technological critique to achieve the synergistic optimization of AI's “capability-system-culture”.
