The article is devoted to the study of didactic possibilities of using interactive visual media for teaching Business English as a tool to increase students’ motivation in higher education. The relevance of the research is fueled by the fact that the dominant form of modern culture is becoming visual culture which is changing not only the perception, but also the thinking of the subject. Visual media are based on visual communication which provides the transfer of ideas and specific information using visual forms. The means of visual presentation of information include both traditional visual media and interactive ones. Interactive tools are of great interest to modern students who belong to generation Z. However, unlike traditional visual teaching tools, interactive visuals have not been widely used. There is a need to study the possibilities of their introduction into the teaching process. The author of the article notes that the inclusion of interactive visual media in the process of teaching Business English should be accompanied by a dialogical style of pedagogical communication. The possibilities of using «scribing» technology in Business English classes are analyzed, and the algorithm of work with computer scribing is proposed. As a result of the research, the author concludes that the correct organization of the application of scribing contributes to the achievement of the goal of mastering the discipline «Business Foreign (English) Language» in higher education. The development and improvement of students «skills of self-control, self-adaptation, self-presentation and self-organization in the process of applying interactive visual media indicate that these means of teaching a foreign language are a real tool for increasing students» motivation.
