Based on the analysis of scientific works by legal researchers and scholars in the field of public administration, the article examines the features of service and labour activity during martial law. The relevance of the work is due to the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country and the introduction of martial law on the entire territory of Ukraine. The state has received challenges in preserving human potential and fulfilling the strategic tasks set out in the state policy priorities. Civil servants are the subjects of service and labour relations. The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of service and labour activities under martial law in the present period in Ukraine.
