Key Points
To assess the impact of an IMB-based nursing intervention on self-efficacy, quality of life, complications, and nursing satisfaction in lung cancer patients post-cryoablation.
Retrospective cohort study of 552 lung cancer patients treated from July 2023 to March 2025
Patients received either IMB-based nursing (n=268) or routine care (n=284) based on clinical allocation
Outcomes measured included quality of life, complications, and nursing satisfaction, using various statistical analyses.
The IMB intervention group had higher SUPPH scores compared to control (104.66 vs. 86.43, P<0.001)
FACT-L scores were also higher in the intervention group (101.90 vs. 94.57, P<0.001)
Nursing satisfaction was greater in the intervention group (89.90 vs. 78.06, P<0.001, Cohen’s d=3.74). Complications were lower but not statistically significant.
