81 patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) meeting the Fourth Universal Definition criteria, mean age ~63.6 years, ~76% male, single-center in China. Key exclusions: dilated or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, non-transmural myocardial infarction, chronic renal insufficiency, severe valvular heart disease, aortic dissection, recurrent myocardial infarction, or death within 6 months.

Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) plus guideline-directed medical therapy (aspirin 100 mg/day, clopidogrel 75 mg/day or ticagrelor 180 mg/day, ACEI/ARB, beta-blockers, and statins)
