This article highlights the contributions of women theologians in mission theology, indicating their vital role in academic discussions.
This article aims to highlight the noble contribution of women theologians to the theology of mission and to demand for recognition. Over the years of theological studies, we have felt the need for this recognition, not only in the Church and society, but also especially in the academic field. Thus, the main question is that not only is the presence of women so scarce, but also their work is rarely mentioned in theological studies, despite their abundance of written works. To answer this question, this paper provides an overview of the contribution of women theologians and especially the need to recognize all the work done by them that has much to contribute to open up of theology. The research goes further and focuses on the contribution of women theologians from the Global South, and finally focuses on the contribution of African women theologians.
