Analysis explores socio-economic contradictions of labor displacement by digital technologies, highlighting implications.
Due to the intensive development of high technologies – robotics, generative artificial intelligence, neural networks, nano-, bio- and cognitive technologies, the role of man and his work in the process of social reproduction is being transformed. The article attempts to consider the socio-economic contradictions arising from the introduction of modern labor-saving technologies and the release of various types of physical and mental labor (including creative) at various levels: anthroposociogenesis and human evolution, the dynamics of the capitalist mode of production, a specific modern stage in the development of social reproduction. The article deals with the problems of displacement of labor by new technologies.
