Observation finds synesthesia improves artistic perception and creative solutions in students, suggesting new pedagogical approaches.
This article explores the use of synesthesia as a method for developing compositional thinking in students attending composition classes within the system of supplementary education. It analyses the impact of intersensory associations on artistic perception and the formation of creative solutions. Theoretical aspects of synesthesia, its role in art and pedagogy, as well as practical methods for integrating synesthetic exercises into the educational process, are examined. The study includes an experiment, whose results confirm the effectiveness of the methodology in enhancing colour perception, emotional response, and spatial imagination in students. The conclusion emphasises the relevance of incorporating synesthetic methods into the system of art education to deepen perception and stimulate creative exploration.
