Analysis of financial and economic conditions in state farms of the Yakut autonomous SSR, highlighting management decisions and development issues.
In the agrarian history of Russia in the twentieth century, the last decade of socialism falls on the XI-XII five-year plans for the development of the national economy of the USSR. This article reveals the features of this period for reindeer herding farms of the Yakut Autonomous SSR. In the first half of the 1980s, reindeer herding farms had the experience of continuous development as part of the agro-industrial association "Sever". The author introduces new archival documents on the history of agriculture in Yakutia in the early 1980s, in particular, the financial and economic state and development problems of the state farms of the APO "North", as well as some management decisions.
