Review discusses implications of artificial intelligence on information security and personal data protection.
Artificial intelligence technologies are increasingly being applied in various fields. This, on the one hand, brings many advantages in facilitating activities in both professional and personal life, but, on the other hand, it also brings with it many challenges, the most significant of which are those related to the security segment. The paper discusses some of the areas in which this is most pronounced - information security with a special focus on the protection of personal data, the safety of people in production with difficult working conditions, the safety of people in specific areas related to war operations (drones, demining of terrain) etc. The safety aspects in the field of autonomous vehicles, which are expected to be implemented in the next decades, were especially discussed. The paper is based predominantly on review of literature and partly on practical experience of the author.
