Analysis reveals innovative STEM and STEAM approaches enhance educational experiences in Moldova, indicating a shift towards sustainable learning.
The current trends in 21st-century education increasingly call for new approaches to learning and the design of new educational experiences. Thus, it is necessary to reflect on the school curriculum as a whole, to clearly differentiate between the quality and effectiveness of learning and the new means of learning, following contemporary society. In other words, concepts such as STEM, STEAM, and the use of technology are considered necessary, in the context of the development of sustainable learning. The article examines the concepts of sustainable learning and STEAM education as innovative approaches in the field of education in the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, a practical model for implementing STEAM activities in the educational process is presented.
