Discussion

Evaluation shows 88% washing efficiency in carrots, indicating effective agricultural cleaning solutions.

The washer achieved a washing efficiency of 88% for carrot, and a cleaning efficiency of 91%.
The bruise index during washing was negligible, ensuring minimal damage to the tubers.
The equipment can wash up to 350 kg/h of carrot, significantly reducing labor by about 70%.
The performance assessment was conducted in real farmer fields to ensure practical application.

Dawn et al. (2013) studied this question.
