Research analyzes tasks designed to improve linguistic competence and physics terminology in Chinese engineering students, suggesting effective approaches.
The aim of this research is to develop a set of tasks in the scientific style of speech for Chinese engineering and technology students studying at preparatory faculties in Russia, aimed at developing skills in the use of physics terms and developing linguistic competence. The article analyzes the scientific works of modern linguodidacts, as well as scientific, methodological and educational-methodological literature on the topic of professionally oriented learning, demonstrates various types of tasks: phonetic, word-formation, lexical and grammatical, allowing to achieve the goal. Scientific novelty lies in the creation of a unique nationally oriented set of tasks for students from China, contributing to the formation of language skills, as well as consolidating professional vocabulary at the initial stage of learning the Russian language. As a result of the study, the advantages of using the developed set of tasks are determined, and the prospects for further research are outlined.
