Analysis of the impact of thermal and vibration treatment on welded joints in steel 15Kh5M, suggesting benefits for industrial applications.
During or after the welding process, welded products and structures may have defects such as cracks, non-welding, burns, pores, etc. Their occurrence and development significantly affects the performance characteristics of the entire structure. In this regard, the metal of the welded joint must be subjected to regulated heat treatment or the imposition of vibration vibrations. In the scientific literature, many works are devoted to research and evidence of the beneficial effects of thermal and vibration treatment on the structure of the weld metal. However, the issue of the effect of heat treatment of welded joints with concomitant imposition of vibration vibrations has not been practically studied. This article is devoted to the analysis of scientific literature and the work of researchers who are dealing with the problem of removing residual stresses using heat treatment and vibration exposure. This paper presents an analysis of the application of heat treatment and vibration vibrations of welded joints using the example of steel grade 15X5M. The choice of this steel grade is due to the fact that it is widely used in the manufacture of equipment in the oil refining and petrochemical industries due to its high oxidation resistance and significant corrosion resistance values. The work also includes studies on other steel grades in order to obtain comparative data. The analysis of the research was carried out by the general scientific method of comparison and generalization. The result of this work is confirmation of the assumption that the problem of removing residual stresses by heat treatment with concomitant vibration vibrations has been little studied. This study may be of practical importance as a basis for subsequent experimental studies of the combined effects of thermal and vibration treatment on the metal structure in the weld, taking into account the available evidence of the beneficial effects of separate heat treatment and separate vibration effects on the metal structure and grain size of the metal, and the application of the results of such studies in the production of the oil refining and petrochemical industries.
