Applied research examines digital generation values and socio-psychological traits, suggesting cultural impacts.
Applied research on the value-based features of the “worldview” and the socio-psychological traits of the “so-cial portrait” of modern children and adolescents is relevant due to the demand from both the public and private sectors of the economy in the context of the rapid transformation of modern society, driven by the high dynam-ics of global digital processes. A thorough scientific analysis based on various methods of interdisciplinary analysis will allow us to create a “social portrait” of the typical consumer of modern digital mass culture, reveal their value framework, and determine the future development of Russian culture. The axiological examination of generational value orientations in a comparative perspective has been addressed in a wide range of ap-plied, interdisciplinary studies over recent decades within the domestic humanities, based on the theory of generational studies. The diversity of approaches and findings necessitates the development of a coherent framework and the systematic synthesis of results.
