This article examines the impact of Law of Ukraine No. 12414, adopted on July 22, 2025, on the institutional independence of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). The law significantly expands the powers of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, effectively subordinating key anti-corruption bodies to his authority.
