This study examines the multifaceted challenges and opportunities in scaling electric vehicle (EV) adoption across India's diverse socio-economic landscape. Through a comprehensive analysis of policy frameworks, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour, this research identifies key barriers and enablers for sustainable electric mobility transformation. The findings reveal that while government initiatives have created momentum, successful nationwide EV adoption requires coordinated efforts addressing infrastructure development, affordability concerns, and regional disparities.
