Analysis demonstrates the role of green infrastructure in urban environments, highlighting its importance for planning and climate adaptation.
The urban environment, often identified with excessive construction, alienation of residents and inhumane way of life, should represent a place that follows social development in various spheres, without disturbing the basic conditions for a healthy life. In order for cities in the future to be able to adapt to the inhabitants, instead of them adapting to insufficiently thought- out decisions of legislators that directly affect the quality of life, with far-reaching consequences, it is necessary that their development be accompanied by amendments to the legal frameworks that take into account, among other things, social, cultural and, above all, climate changes. In further work, analyzes of green infrastructure as an instrument for observing and analyzing green areas, for understanding their importance, both on a micro and a macro level, will be shown, as will also be shown the possibilities of their implementation in detailed regulation plans, through supplementing the existing, legally prescribed percentages of their participation. Namely, two detailed regulation plans will be presented and analyzed, within which the process of their creation will be presented, supported by additional analyzes of green infrastructure and the impact on the environment and residents, which have become an integral part of the planning documentation, thus enabling their unequivocal implementation.
