The Reading Test for Dyslexia Subtypes Identification was developed to analyze reading in Brazilian Portuguese, aiming to support the identification of dyslexia subtypes in this language. The instrument was designed to assess reading, considering the theoretical framework proposed by Coltheart et al., (2001). Specific linguistic characteristics of the words were controlled in order to distinguish different reading patterns in Brazilian Portuguese.
