The article highlights the life and creative path of the Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Full Member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture and the Academy of Construction of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Architectural Structures of KNUCA, Vice President of the Ukrainian Association for Applied Geometry, graduate and successor of the Kyiv School of Architecture of the Department of ADCBS (Department of Architectural Design of Civil Buildings and Structures) of KNUCA O.L. Pidhornyi and identifies his main scientific, pedagogical and creative achievements. Attention is paid to his main achievements in the formation of architectural education in Ukraine, in particular the formation and establishment of the Kyiv School of Applied Geometry and Architectural Graphics at KNUCA. The article highlights the pedagogical achievements of the lecturer, who was able to combine scientific depth with practical skills, as well as his pioneering research in the field of geometric modeling of spatial structures and architectural and construction physics, whose creative work includes more than 300 scientific works, including textbooks, manuals, monographs, and patents for inventions. The article reveals the essence of the scientific directions of the scientist's theoretical research, little-known pages of the scientist's life, his literary work, achievements in poetry and painting.
